Jupiter 🤩 the planet that I have been obsessed with painting 🫣 the first photo was my first ever attempt and I was blown away by how my vision came to life! Since then I have painted many Jupiters… even did one in Infrared colors (second image) 😜

Jupiter is today’s topic for The Spacetober Challenge 🥹

Today’s The Spacetober Challenge theme is Supernova 💥

Supernovas are my favourite kinds of objects (after planets 😉) to create using fluid art techniques! The technique suits well to showcase the movement and variety within a supernova 🥹

I just need to remember to take photos of all my paintings 😆 especially the ones I give away or sell 🫣

Hope you like them as much as I do 🤩

Part of a space station or what could have been?!

This painting was inspired by Canada’s previously planned Canadarm3 (was being built by MDA Space) for a space station for the Moon. While the project was cut short, this painting now hangs on the walls of a space nerd who worked at CSA and hopefully continues to inspire them to built space arms 🦾 🥹

Posted as part of The Spacetober Challenge’s Day 5 challenge!

Inspired by amazing pictures from Artemis II mission and Canadian Space Agency astronaut (and fellow Londoner) Jeremy Hansen’s amazing journey to the Moon and back!

It was a pure Moon Joy for me to recreate what Earth may have looked to the Artemis crew on their way to the Moon 🫣 if Jeremy, Christina Hammock Koch, Victor Glover or Reid Wiseman can confirm that would be amazing 🥲

By far my favourite painting that I have ever made!!! Using fluid art techniques, I love that it captures how alive Earth is when see from space!

Sharing as part of the The Spacetober Challenge!

This piece (along with many others) will go on sale soon 🥹 I am still debating if I should sale this one 😜 TBD!

Since I cannot do fluid art in my backyard and I want to enjoy the ONLY few weeks of summer we get…. I am exploring oil pastels 🫣 this is my second set… did not really like the first one I got 🙃

Cannot wait to try these out…. Imagining some space paintings 🥲

Oil pastels have steep learning curve when it comes to HOW much pastels to use 🫣 and how to blend…. but I think I am getting better at it now as I practice more!!!

Ignore the bottom… I gave up LOL but I learned the black I have is not forgiving at all so I need to do better coloring splitting from the get go!

Lots of learnings and little progress but liking oil pastels more than soft pastels… and yes I still don’t have a blender tool… using Q-tips (Cotton Swabs) so far 🤭
