🍂 Fall Classes at Stache — There’s Still Room to Sew With Us! 🧵

Our fall classes and workshops are getting underway, and over the next few days we’ll be highlighting a few that still have spaces available!

🌹 First up: Visitor Among the Roses — September 19, 9am–3pm

How fun is this quilt?! 😍 Quirky roses, leafy stems and that fabulous black bird make this such a unique project.

And just look at the difference a fabric change makes! The darker Halloween-inspired version is coming together beautifully and shows just how easy it is to make Visitor Among the Roses completely your own. 🎃🖤

Spend the day at Stache learning, sewing, laughing and making progress on this gorgeous project. Whether you stick with the original palette or give it your own personality, we’d love to have you join us.

😂🧵 Well… this feels a little too accurate today!

You know that tower of fabric on the right? Apparently we took that as a challenge. 😂

Today 8 BOXES of fabric arrived at Stache — that’s 82 BOLTS! 😳📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦

Because clearly what a fabric shop needs is… MORE FABRIC! 🤣

There’s a whole lot of unpacking, admiring, petting, organizing and “oooooh, look at this one!” happening around here.

Come help us make that fabric tower a little shorter… 82 bolts need new homes! 🧵✂️🛍️

🤣 Well, apparently Mr. Stache has been busy while Anne and I are away at training!

He created this AI masterpiece to celebrate our Husqvarna Viking training adventure in Toronto… and I have to admit, he did pretty well! 😂🧵✂️

Anne and I have been soaking up SO much information, learning all kinds of new things, playing with some pretty amazing machines and having a whole lot of fun along the way.

According to Mr. Stache, we’re coming home “SO SMRT!” 🤓😂

We can’t wait to bring everything we’ve learned back to Stache and share it with all of you. There may be a lot of “Did you know your machine can do THIS?!” conversations in our future!

Thanks for holding down the fort, Mr. Stache… and for keeping us entertained from home. ❤️

🧵✨ Stache is in Toronto for training! ✨🧵

Anne and I are spending this week in Toronto at our very first Husqvarna Viking sewing machine training, and WOW — there is so much to learn! 🧡💙

Our days are filled with sewing, learning, experimenting, asking lots of questions…and, as you can probably tell from the photo, having a whole lot of fun while we’re at it! 😄

We’re soaking up as much information as we possibly can so that we can come home ready to help you get even more out of these amazing machines.

While we’re away, Stache is still on the job! We’re continuing to answer phone calls and emails, and Mr. Stache is holding down the fort and filling orders as he is able throughout the week. Please give him a little extra patience while his usual Stache crew is off becoming sewing-machine experts! 😉❤️

We can’t wait to get home and share everything we’ve learned with you!

Something tells me there are going to be LOTS of exciting things happening at Stache! 🧵✂️

🍂 Visitor Among the Roses is officially a quilt top! 🧵✂️

The last seams are sewn, the quilt top is complete, and it’s off to the longarmer! 🎉 And just in time, because our Visitor Among the Roses class is coming up September 19!

This was such a fun quilt to put together — although I can’t take all the credit. My very attentive sewing supervisor 🐱 made sure every seam was properly inspected along the way. 😂

We’re excited to welcome a new-to-us batting brand all the way from Australia — Matilda’s Own! 🇦🇺

We’ve brought in small rolls of their Cotton/Poly Batting, a 80% cotton / 20% polyester blend that gives you the best of both worlds — the softness and breathability of cotton with the added durability and stability of polyester.

And check out the size! 😍 Each roll is 97” wide and 10m long perfect to have on hand to complete a few projects at a time.
