It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to my Mom Lillian “Janis” Peakman. She will be missed by my brother Brandon and I, our partners Barry and John, her Grandchildren Charlotte, Madison and Adam and her Great Grandchildren Barry and Bonnie. She was predeceased by her husband Jerry, who I hope she is reunited with and they are lovingly playing jokes on each other and laughing together.

Mom was an inspiration to both Brandon and I by encouraging us to grow up in a very creative, hands-on home which has guided us both in the lives we live today.

We love you Mom and will miss you greatly!

🚗🧵 Stache is hitting the road for Quilt Canada 2026! 🧵🚗

The countdown is on! We’re packing up the van, loading it with fabric, notions, inspiration, and a few surprises, and heading west to Quilt Canada 2026 in Winnipeg!

Join us at the RBC Convention Centre from June 18–20 as we spend three amazing days surrounded by quilters from across the country. Whether you’re attending the conference, taking classes, admiring the quilts, or shopping the Merchant Mall, be sure to stop by and say hello!

That’s right! You’ll still find us at the market you know and love, but we’ll soon be settling into a bigger space with more room for fabric, notions, classes, inspiration, and all the quilting goodness you’ve come to expect from Stache.
