A lesson in balance + symmetry
The previous room felt visually jarring, with lots of asymmetrical moments. By only changing the interior space and without moving the existing window, we made the niche feel intentional rather than off-centre, and custom millwork for both the desk and closets balanced out the space and gave a custom and calming feel. Proof that sometimes you don’t need to change the architecture - you just need to change how you balance it.
