One thing you might not know about me: before becoming a potter, I worked as an event planner. I helped bring some pretty fun festivals to life, and ever since stepping into the clay world, I’ve wanted to create something meaningful for the ceramic community here in Nova Scotia.

After moving to Mahone Bay and seeing how the town truly comes alive during the Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival, I reached out to see if they’d be open to teaming up on a pottery event. Cathy said YES! And now the Nova Scotia Pottery Market is coming to life on October 4.

I checked HOSTING A BUS TOUR off my bucket list last week! ☑️🚌🌟
I may not have slept for several weeks leading up to it, but it’s safe to say that my very first Vintage Shopping Bus was a HIT! Our crew journeyed to the South Shore of Nova Scotia on a lovely Coach Atlantic bus and visited so many beautiful shops along the way. We stopped in Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Blockhouse and scored SO many treasures throughout the day!
Thank you to my first passengers for trusting me with this experience, to my sister Menna Riley for being my second brain as I planned the trip and beyond, to our fantastic driver Ken, to Eli + Trix for a fabulous lunch, and to ALL the hard working shop-owners along the route who welcomed us with open arms and INCREDIBLE finds! Also a big shoutout to COWS Creamery for supplying us with Moo Crisps to enjoy on the bus- What a TREAT! 🧀

A little blend of history, nature, and reKINDled creativity—ready to bring warmth and character to a cozy corner office for a very dear friend of mine.
