Bit of a website update today!

This lovely object is hand thrown on the wheel by Zach, and glazed and fired in our studio. It is a mug so has a handle. It is perfect for cappuccino. Or milk. 2.5 inches tall, holds 5.5oz. Dishwasher & microwave safe. 6% PST added at checkout to Saskatchewan residents only. $15 shipp

Have you heard of CLOWN LUNG?
So pottery dust is really bad for your lungs, and potters know to protect from dry dust so as not to get a bad lung problem called silicosis. I believe it is called black lung in coal mining. But did you know clowns traditionally set the white makeup with a setting powder that gave them CLOWN LUNG?? My daughter filled me in on this yesterday. (Maybe also called silly cosis?)
Below is some of her paintings of alligators and crocodiles on some bowls I made that I gave her to paint.

Friday 13th!

Well, today is the day....the GALLERY is OPEN!! WE are opening the doors at 12 PM- that's noon for everyone on lunch break. Come down and pick out your favourite piece of art for your home or office.

Tomorrow is the opening party for the Art Room on 2nd in Medicine Hat from 5-8PM… I hear there will be chocolate and lotsa art…
