Northern Sky is excited to present an exciting opportunity!
We are looking to add a productive Architectural Technologist to work within our growing team. The right candidate will bring to this role an interest in residential design, creativity, and a love for intricate building details! We pride ourselves in creating a collaborative, work hard/play hard environment with a culture that encourages growth in skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibities:
- Develop comprehensive sets of construction drawings for permitting, engineering, and working drawings for building custom homes.
- Develop interior design drawings and specifications for new custom homes.
- Rendering plans for client presentations.
- Coordinate with third party consultants, contractors, engineers, civil officials, and clients.
- Project administration
Qualifications:
- Diploma from an accredited Canadian Architectural Technology program or better.
- 2+ years’ experience with a solid understanding of building systems and detailing.
- A strong understanding of the Canadian Building Code.
- Exemplary communication skills and proven ability to interact effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license.
