True North Manufacturing Inc. is introducing a new line of practical, economical shed kits for backyard, property and general storage applications.

We’re opening our first 10 production spots at introductory pricing:

8' × 8' — $1,400
8' × 10' — $1,490
8' × 12' — $1,600

Standard construction includes:

2×6 floor joists @ 24" O.C.
5/8" T&G plywood floor sheathing
2×4 wall framing @ 24" O.C.
2×4 roof rafters @ 24" O.C.
7/16" OSB wall sheathing
7/16" OSB roof sheathing
Double barn-style doors
Door hardware included
Panelized construction for straightforward assembly

Built using TNMI’s quality-focused manufacturing approach, each shed is supplied in panelized kit form, stacked and ready for pickup.

Ideal for lawn and garden equipment, tools, seasonal items, recreational equipment and general overflow storage.

Custom sizing and upgrades are available upon request.

Delivery, installation, shingles and finishing are not included. Prices are subject to HST.

This 6' x 6' shed was built by our production team as part of a prototype/pilot build while developing new products and configurations. It was built using the same materials, production processes and quality standards we use in our regular work — we're simply making room after product development.

Shed dimensions:
• 6' x 6' structure
• 8' x 8' overall base
• Approx. 9' exterior height at front
• Approx. 8' exterior height at rear
• Interior height: approx. 97" front / 88" rear
• Door rough opening: 30" x 76"
• Approx. 16–20" roof overhangs

Construction:
• 2x4 wall framing @ 16" O.C.
• 7/16" OSB wall sheathing
• 2x6 roof rafters
• 7/16" OSB roof sheathing
• 2x4 floor framing @ 16" O.C.
• 7/16" OSB floor sheathing
• Pressure-treated runners

Built indoors at our Midland, Ontario manufacturing facility.

A solid starting point for a garden shed, storage building, workshop, ice hut or other small structure. Ready for the buyer to complete with their choice of roofing, siding, door and interior finishes. Supplied in panelized kit format for easy pickup and installation.

Those same principles are the foundation of our sister company, True North Thinking, and we're excited to announce registration is now open for the TPS Foundations Development Pathway.

This practical, hands-on, two-day development program is designed for manufacturers, fabricators, construction companies, and other operational organizations looking to:

✔ Improve operational performance
✔ Build structured problem-solving capability
✔ Create a sustainable culture of continuous improvement

Participants will experience the Toyota Production System through an interactive simulation and learn practical leadership and continuous improvement methods through Toyota Kata—all designed to be applied immediately within their own organizations.

This is where manufacturing starts to matter.

A panelized construction process is not only about building wall and floor panels indoors.

It is about preparing more of the work before it reaches site.

That means better coordination.
More controlled fabrication.
Code-compliant assemblies.
Clearer handoffs.

And a stronger path to reducing project lead-time, reducing site labour pressure, and supporting on-time ex*****on.

Construction will always require strong site work, but the site should not have to absorb every problem, every adjustment, and every delay.

The more we can plan, coordinate, fabricate, and check upstream, the better chance the project has to move predictably downstream.
