Exciting news! 🌲🪵🎉
We are honored to have received a grant for our new sawmill.
A heartfelt thank you to the Ministry of Forestry, Kevin Holland, Lisa Thompson MPP , Mark Goetz South Bruce Mayor , the South Bruce Council members, and everyone who attended and supported this announcement. We would also like to thank CTV for coming out and helping share this exciting milestone with our community.
This new sawmill will help us grow, create opportunities, strengthen our operations, and advance our role within the forestry sector.
We are incredibly excited for the future and the opportunities this sawmill will bring. We can't wait to get started and look forward to sharing our progress along the way!

Now Hiring: Skidder Operator / Cable Operator
We are looking for an experienced **Skidder Operator / Cable Operator** to join our growing team.
Requirements
* Experience operating skidders and cable bunchers
* Valid driver's license (DZ license considered an asset)
* Experience using and maintaining chainsaws
* Knowledge of safe forestry and logging practices
* Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic equipment maintenance
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
* Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Ability to work on uneven terrain and in remote locations
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are considered an asset
* Willingness to travel when required
* Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
* Must take pride in equipment and maintain a clean, professional work environment
Position Details
* Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Benefits available
* Approximately 70% of work is local
* Some travel may be required
* Competitive wages based on experience
