If you’ve been online lately, you’ve probably seen the Ralph Lauren Christmas that has completely taken over Pinterest and TikTok — and for good reason. It’s that perfect mix of nostalgia and luxury: rich greens, deep reds, brass accents, candlelight, and those cozy tartan plaids that feel like childhood Christmas memories, but as a fancy grown up.

This closet transformation 🤌🏼

This unit originally had two storage rooms, a tiny primary closet, and a poorly designed bathroom. By reshaping one storage room, I created space for a beautiful walk-in closet and a larger, more functional bathroom.

There were several construction and design challenges, including a massive bulkhead, a water meter, and a window that didn't line up with an existing wall. However, creative thinking and some construction knowledge paid off!

After years of renovating and designing our own home in Miramichi, we've expanded to Saint John and are back in the world of renting! It’s been an exciting change, and I’ve learned that while renting may come with limitations, there are endless possibilities to make your space feel truly yours.

Over the next few weeks I'll be getting my butt in gear setting up our new place. I’ll show you how to mix the old and the new, blending cherished pieces you already have with carefully selected new finds. Whether it's vintage treasures or modern accents, every piece should spark joy! After all, your home should be filled with things you love

Take a peek at what I have already setup: our new bed and our cozy fireplace mantel. It’s all about layering those little details. The more personal touches you add, the more interesting and inviting your space becomes.

It's amazing how impactful small details can be — from the texture of a throw pillow to the character of an antique. The more attention you give to the things that surround you, the more inviting and personal your home becomes.
