I’ve always loved shopping at estate sales and auctions. The items are usually well-made, vintage, and surprisingly affordable. There’s always a little sadness knowing that someone has passed away, but I take comfort in giving their belongings a new home and a second life.Last night, I won an old desk at an auction and was excited to pick it up. When I got there, I was surprised by how heavy it was. As soon as I opened it, I understood why. Every drawer was completely packed with belongings. It was incredible, and a little emotional, to sift through the contents of someone’s life. I found personal letters, old address books, car insurance papers, jewellery knickknacks, glasses from the 1960s and so many other interesting things. It felt like opening a time capsule. There was something both sad and heartwarming about it.It’s fascinating to see the things people choose to keep over the years, the little pieces of their story tucked away in drawers. Most of what I found dated back to the 1980s. As I sorted through everything, I couldn’t help but wonder about the life they lived, the memories attached to each item, and the reasons they held onto them for so long. It was a reminder that the ordinary things we keep often end up telling the story of who we are.

Electric BBQ + BBQ Tool Set

Great electric BBQ that's ideal for apartment buildings or balconies where traditional charcoal or propane BBQs may not be allowed.

I've owned it for about 2 years and have only used it around 5 times. After the first couple of messy cooks, I discovered that lining the bottom drip area with tinfoil keeps the interior parts incredibly clean and helps extend the life of the BBQ. Since then, cleanup has been quick and easy.

Included:
- Electric BBQ with stand and lid
- Temperature control cord
- Upper warming rack
- BBQ utensils and accessories

Many of the utensils have never been used

The BBQ works great and is ready for its next owner.

Perfect for anyone looking for an affordable, apartment-friendly BBQ that's easy to maintain.
