Finally taking time to create an actual post 👋 After creating a poll on what to do with this piece — that has been sitting in the corner of my office for way too long —the results said to make it fun! Painted by a previous owner, I made an effort to reveal the parts of the furniture that are real wood and I went all out with a 70s inspired monochromatic design. I am so proud I didn’t have to purchase anything to refinish it, I had everything on hand! Now the question is, do we still sell or keep it? 🧡

I haven’t been very active on the “vintage” side of this account. I haven’t posted any special messages for Holidays and I didn’t think I was going to address yesterday’s event either. None of it meant out of disrespect of course. This morning I remembered a scrapbook I’ve had since I was five, found in my antique school desk. I always thought it was made by my aunt or grandmother but the name inside doesn’t belong to any family members. Maybe it was in the desk when my aunt dragged it home? Regardless of the story behind it, I cherish these clippings from The New York Times Magazine and the Weekend, 1953.
