Finally finished up #2 in this set of portraits. This sweet girl is Domino. In her photo of reference her eyes are visible but I wanted to have her eyes visible in her portrait.
This is painted with acrylics in a 16”x20” canvas.

I know I’ve looked MIA lately but after taking a break for the holidays I started this ambitious 16x20” canvas acrylic painting portrait for a dear friend. This is the first of two. She wanted ‘book end’ style portraits.
Wayyy outside my comfort zone but I feel he turned out well.
I won’t be taking commission requested for this size/style of portrait without some consult first. The time it takes and the level of detail needed for these puts them in a special bracket.

This was a special request. Definitely outside of my normal art work but it was fun to do.
It’s an abstract’ish interpretation of their property for a keep sake.

Another pet or trait completed. Super challenging with her curly fur but I’m pleased with how it turned out.
I am taking commissions but new work not guaranteed before Christmas. Most likely any new requests will be completed into the new year.
