If we could go back to the veryyyyy beginning of our small business journey, there are a LOT of things we’d change! 😅😅 Not because we did everything wrong but because building a handmade business from scratch teaches you things that no youtube video or business book can prepare you for.

From branding and pricing to marketing, inventory, content and figuring out what actually moves the needle… we learned most of it the hard way.

So if you’re starting a small business, building a handmade brand or wondering what we wish we knew sooner, this one’s for you :)

“It’ll be a fun little market” she said… famous last words 😂🥲 Mother Nature had other plans.

Outdoor markets are a different breed.

Looking back at these moments, it’s wild to see how much has changed. I never thought something that started so small would resonate with so many of you. To my day oners, thank u, ilu! If u’re new here, welcome!💗

I still remember the excitement when i finished designing the logo, it was the start of it all 😭

Don’t ask me what i was thinking… idk either 😂 shout out Kris for helping me out with the cutting xx

And maybe a fifth coming up 👀💀

Ur girl was tripping 😅 We always keep our schedule open for this specific market, it’s kinda become a tradition 🤠

From 25-candle custom order to a 900-candle custom order 🤯💗

Oh to be a small business on a budget 🙃

Thanks for sticking around 🫶🫶🫶

AI could never replace all the love and late nights that went into making our candles… from the designs and scent blends to the pouring, labeling and handwritten note in every order.

It could never replicate the connections created along the way, the customers who became friends and the friends who became family

AI could never replace the human part of what we do 💗
