Vintage Turkish Pottery Plate , 10” diameter, manufactured in Kutahya, Turkey, and most likely from Guven Cini Ceramics, circa 1955-80. It is a beautiful, intricate, colourful, handpainted dish, with a hook in the back, so it can also be hung on a wall. Only later did I notice a chip on the back rim, which is not perceptible when the plate is facing up. Still lovely. $28

Mid-Century Poterie D’Ivry. Mid-Century Fish Shaped Plates (10” x9”), from the factory in Ivry Sur Seine, France. The plates are in solid condition, without chips, but two of them have some crazing. Vibrant green glaze, truly remarkable that they survived in such fine condition, for so many years. $25 each

Vintage Talavera vase, most likely the work of Pedro Alba. Handpainted in the most vibrant colours, @ 10” height x 5.75” diameter on the base, gorgeous detail all around. A few minor minuscule scratches, but only if you search for them. A gem for lovers of Mexican pottery. $50

Vintage Pink Speckled Lancaster & Sandland English Ware Butter Dish. Featuring the classic scene from Oliver Twist where he asks for more bread. Sandland Ware was manufactured in England from 1944-68. There are no chips on this stunning piece, but tons of crazing, in a very antique looking way. The dish measures 6” x 4” & the lid measures 2” at its highest.

Currier and Ives, blue and white, manufactured by Royal China, Sebring Ohio. For tea cups and saucers- the saucers have a steamboat, and the cups are called ‘star of the road’, featuring a woman in a carriage. The saucers measure 6” in diameter & the mugs are 3.5” . We have more in our supply closet! Considering their age (1950s-60s), they’re in remarkable condition. Sourced in Vermont.

Magnificent Arabia of Finland Paratiisi (Paradise) Oval Platter. Designed by Birger Kaipiainen (1915-88), who was regarded as one of Finland’s most prominent ceramicists. Vibrant fruit and flower pattern, the platter measures 14” x 12”. It is in like new condition, although according to the number on the back 4-70, (see photo), it was made in April 1970. Attached is how it is priced on Amazon and elsewhere. Impeccable quality vintage piece, which will brighten up any table.

Midwinter ‘Cassandra’ tea and coffee pots, designed by Jessie Tait. Regarded as one of the most innovative ceramic designers of 1950s England, the ‘Fashion Shape’ style was introduced in 1957. While there is some crazing, there are no chips. Fantastic mid century style. $45 each
