September is finally here! which means so is the September edition of the Cup of Koko snail mail 💌

This month is a particularly special month for me as my due date is any day now and September will be officially the month I give birth to our baby boy 🩵 This month highlights Asian healing remedies like a cute little tiger balm note card, my little Shibe sipping on a hot cup of herbal tea, and a new friend munching on some oranges for extra vitamin C 🍊🐅

There have been some really big updates happening that I talk about in my letter this month and as I slowly reveal these updates I hope that my little drawings will continue to bring joy to you even when I’m in this new phase of rest and healing 🤍

It’s mail club launch day! 🚀 See you all today at noon (ET) 💓

Just knowing that I’ll have pen pals to share my illustrated joys with makes me so incredibly happy 🥹 Here’s a little peek at what you can expect from the Cup of Koko Mail Club! 💌

Sign-ups are listed separately based on your country, and because this is a new analog approach, postage is already included in the price—no surprise shipping costs at checkout.

Since letter mail isn’t restricted in the same way as parcels and boxed packages, I’m so happy to finally say that there’s something for all of my EU friends too. 💌✨

Finally, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me throughout this journey. I know that seeing me share more illustration, stationery, and paper goods alongside my usual ceramics may feel a little different, and it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But this is a project I’ve been dreaming about for a long time, and one that means so much to me 💕

My hope has always been to create art that brings comfort and joy in all kinds of forms, sizes, and price points, so that no matter where you are, everyone can have a little piece of my home in theirs 🏠

Each letter will also come with two exclusive stickers (which I’ll be keeping a hidden secret just so you can still open to a little surprise in the mail) 💌

It seems as though I will never escape the grasps of cats + beverage making vessels ☕️ This Catfé V60 inspired pour over is just one of the things I made for the home during my small social media break 🐾

I’ve been experimenting on different ways to bring back my animal inspired creations (pieces of all sizes and price ranges) especially for the ceramic collections I plan to release inspired by the art in my mail club 💌

I’m hoping to release some sneak peeks tomorrow for what to expect when you open a Cup of Koko letter and sometime in August once all the letters have been mailed out I also plan to also give a sneak peeks to what members will have first exclusive access to 👀

Since the mail club will not be hosted on subscription based platforms like patreon, members will have the option after receiving their August mail to preorder the September issue. Unlike subscription platforms you will not be recharged every month automatically, so if you just want to commit one time then there is no pressure 💕

Finally, if you miss sign ups or spots end up full before you were able to make it. Each print and sticker will be available for individual purchase the following month as a Cup of Koko Refill. For those who maybe wanted specific items and not the whole ensemble 💝

Many of you have been supporting my art since my illustrator days and when I went into ceramics a lot my drawings got placed on the shelf and kind of forgotten.

When I launched the Moo Deng stickers, I realized a few things. 1) my silly little drawings were just as appreciated as my clay creations 2) many of you wanted to support me, even in little ways, like through my stickers 🥹🫶

And so I’ve decided to start a snail mail club! For my stationary lovers, every month I will be sending mail club members:

💌: a special letter from me to you with cute little tidbits from Koko, Puffs & Carnage (along with little character cameos)

🖼️: 1 post card/art print with an original illustrated character (👀 a little peek to the August print in the corner)

🐾: 2 stickers (one theme related and the other either a chaotic surprise or a sweet little fur friend)

🎟️ : a special ticket that will give you first exclusive access to any upcoming collections along with a discount code. It also doubles as a bookmark! 🔖

🎂: If it’s your birthday you will also receive a little birthday bonus as a gift from me to you. Because you deserve to be celebrated 💖

Every month I will open a limited number of spots and by the end of the month I will also be launching ceramic pieces related to the theme along with some other designs and curated pieces.

This mail club (since it’s more on the analog side) will officially be open INTERNATIONALLY which means my friends overseas who had major roadblocks in the past due to tariffs and mailing laws will no longer have to sit on the sidelines since letter mail is not restricted the way boxed packages are 💌

Postage rates and membership rates will vary but the general pricing range will be $12-17 CAD 🇨🇦

I think I’ll have to keep little Moo in the shop for a while cause she’s just so stinking cute!

Almost all the pieces are packed and will be shipped out soon. As for the preorders, i’ll be bouncing back and forth between my home studio and previous studio to start the process 🐾
