We designed AMORE, a fully custom candle line for our co-founder Alessia’s ( Alessia Taurasi ) wedding - from custom concrete jars to a bespoke fragrance with hidden nods to her and her husband’s love story. This is what a Smellies keepsake, designed entirely around you, looks like.

Every AMORE candle carried a custom fragrance built to hold the memory of the day itself

We designed their monogram from scratch, had it pressed into every concrete vessel as a quiet detail only they and their guests would recognize as their own.

On each box, ‘Vivo per lei’ – a nod to their first dance song, and one of many small details woven into the packaging.

A keepsake for their guests, a memory we got to help shape for our beloved co-founder, designed in house. This is what we love.

Over the weekend we quietly celebrated the 5 year anniversary of Smellies.

If this year felt a little quieter from us, it’s because we chose to step back and make space for something we haven’t given ourselves in a long time– time to reflect, recalibrate, and rethink the way we want to show up in this next chapter.

We realized we were operating out of habit and influence instead of intention, and that the best way forward was to pause.

This permission to step back and reflect on who we once were and who we wanted to become gave us a new perspective.

We’re building what comes next carefully and quietly, making sure it feels aligned with the heart of why we started.
