বিজয় দিবসের শুভেচ্ছা! ♥️

16th December was Bangladesh's 50th Victory Day 🇧🇩✨

The day we emancipated ourselves from the West Pakistan and born as a Free Nation of Free Thinker.

As days passed lots of other aspects kept on adding to our socio-economic development and culture had a lot to do with coping up with the changing world.

But some people like us are really trying to carry on the legacy and the root of our Liberation war and the Freedom-fighters ❤️

Art is a valuable form in all era for measuring the societal notions and I am happy to be able to create the distinctions, just by being. 🌿

This year, Durga-Pujo was home bound but that surely doesn't mean that we won't be dressing up and have fun! The ethenic "Aalta" and "Tip" were the main accessories for "Pujo" in this new normal lifestyle as it has always been for Bengali homes (as we go through the golden ages of literature we came to know ever-since , reminisce is a common mania of all ages though).
So, these are my two main ladies (my ma and my didi) here showing up with their customized hand-painted "Tipoosh" and booming up the "Authetic" Look! 🌺

This "TiP" however reminds me of France, mainly Paris! Idk why!
Whenever I look at this piece I get a somehow the inspirations of french art work! Maybe those yellow roses are the reason!

Btw, I made these roses with "paper quilling" and green acrylic paint with a bit of pearl febicryl.
The orange part was added after to match the color of my outfit I was wearing that day. You can buy just the main "Black tipoosh" also!

For that, let's call this "tipoosh" "le noir jardin de jaunes roses" or "the black garden of yellow roses"! .
