Our Story
Daniel Anaka, the founder of Atelier Anaka, has made Montreal his home since the late 80’s. After working for many years in the fashion design industry, Daniel transferred his talents to the world of interior design, working on a number of high-profile projects. A few years ago, frustrated by the lack of affordable, stylish lighting, Daniel began experimenting with bespoke lighting and found a hidden talent in lighting and furniture design. Daniel takes his inspiration from natural, organic forms and classic mid-century designs. Each piece in the collection is created by hand in his Montreal atelier, demonstrating the unique skill of the artisan and supporting one-of-a-kind pieces in a world of mass production.
