Galerie 6250 opened during Semaine Design de Montréal welcoming .ca. What brought us together is a shared conviction: that working with external designers is where the most interesting work begins. Suspended paper partitions transformed the gallery into a labyrinth of discovery, where each turn brought light and furniture into a new conversation.

La Galerie 6250 s’est ouverte durant la Semaine Design de Montréal en accueillant .ca . Une conviction partagée nous a réunis : c’est dans la collaboration avec des designers externes que naît le travail le plus intéressant. Des cloisons de papier en suspension ont transformé la galerie en labyrinthe de découverte – chaque tournant engageait la lumière et le mobilier dans une nouvelle conversation.

For the first edition of Montreal Design Week, we opened the doors of our Galerie 6250, an exhibition space nestled within our Mile-End atelier. This is something we will hold onto, along with the memory of everyone who was there. A sincere thank you to those who came, and to those whose generosity made the evening possible. Seeing this community come together around what we do is something that never loses its weight.

Un merci sincère à ceux qui ont poussé la porte, et à ceux qui ont contribué au vernissage. Ce fut une soirée mémorable, portée par la générosité de nos partenaires. Voir cette communauté se rassembler autour de ce que nous faisons nous touche, chaque fois.

The Bolda collection is now available and has been expanded with new models. The Bolda 01A and its atelier variation are discreet, while conveying the sculptural essence of the collection in a compact, architectural form. Their portholes open onto empty space, while the wall-mounted models are supported by a polished aluminum back panel, echoing the upper plane and enveloping the composition in subtle depth. Available in a polished aluminum finish or with enameled copper tiles, each Bolda luminaire combines architectural rigor with rich materials.

La collection Bolda est désormais disponible et s’enrichit de nouveaux modèles. La Bolda 01A et sa version atelier sont discrètes, tout en traduisant l’essence sculpturale de la collection dans une forme compacte et architecturale. Leurs hublots s’ouvrent sur le vide, tandis que les modèles muraux s’appuient sur un panneau arrière en aluminium poli, faisant écho au plan supérieur et enveloppant la composition d’une subtile profondeur. Proposés en finition aluminium poli ou ornementé de tuiles de cuivre émaillé, chaque luminaire Bolda allient rigueur architecturale et richesse des matériaux.

The enamel's shimmering and irregular effect sparked the name of the collection, Bolda – a term evoking tranquil waves and breezes, characteristic of Jeju Island, where Kwangho Lee lives and finds his inspiration. Combined with Lambert & Fils' singular expertise, this approach forms the very foundation of this collaboration, giving rise to a creative dialogue where tradition and innovation meet.

L'effet miroitant et irrégulier de l'émail sur cuivre a imposé son nom à la collection Bolda – un terme évoquant la quiétude des vagues et du vent, caractéristiques de l’île de Jeju, où Lee réside et puise son inspiration. The Bolda Collection finally takes the stage.
Since its pre-launch at Salone del Mobile last April, our design team has come up with new suspension models. The Bolda Atelier 01E, as well as its polished aluminum variation, is an elongated version of the original fixture. It is distinguished by its refined portholes, which establish a lively rhythm between form and light. Supported by aircraft cables and connected by a cumin-colored wire, these fixtures showcase their unique profile.

La collection Bolda entre enfin en scène.
Depuis son pré-lancement au Salone del Mobile en avril dernier, notre équipe de design a développé de nouveaux modèles de suspensions. Le Bolda Atelier 01E, ainsi que sa variante en aluminium poli, est une version allongée de la suspension originale, caractérisée par ses hublots qui instaurent un rythme vivant entre la forme et la lumière. Suspendus par des câbles d’acier et connectés par un fil couleur cumin, ces luminaires expriment toute la singularité de leur silhouette.
