APPLIQUE est une exposition collective présentée par Lambert & Fils, réunissant 22 créatrices et créateurs de disciplines variées. Chacun et chacune a été invité à concevoir un objet lumineux unique à partir d’une base commune. La proposition, volontairement ouverte, reposait sur deux seules contraintes : une même source lumineuse et une applique murale.

Les pièces seront mises en vente sur le site de Lambert & Fils dès l’ouverture de l’exposition.

L’exposition sera présentée du 10 au 12 septembre à la galerie 6250 de Lambert & Fils, au 6250 rue Hutchison. Vernissage le 9 septembre, dès 18h.

APPLIQUE is a group exhibition presented by Lambert & Fils, bringing together 22 creators from a wide range of disciplines. Each was invited to design a unique lighting object from a shared starting point. The brief, deliberately open, rested on just two constraints: a single light source and a wall sconce.

The pieces will be available for purchase on the Lambert & Fils website starting at the exhibition’s opening.

The exhibition runs September 10 to 12 at Lambert & Fils’ galerie 6250, located at 6250 rue Hutchison. Opening night is September 9, from 6pm.

Arguably our biggest champion of the Beaubien Atelier series, they've made it their own across multiple projects, customizing each fixture's hue to suit their specific project needs, whether residential or in hospitality. Peu de studios ont su tirer parti d'un département sur mesure comme celui de Stephanie Thatenhorst. Fidèle ambassadrice de la série Beaubien Atelier, son équipe l’a adoptée à travers de multiples projets, personnalisant chaque nuance selon les besoins précis du lieu, qu'il soit résidentiel ou hôtelier. Nous sommes toujours curieux de voir quelles seront les prochaines teintes soumises.

Although a catalog collection comes with its own satisfactions, being invited to create and develop a custom series for a restaurant we cherish sparks a particular kind of excitement. Côté Est invited us to join their transformation in Kamouraska, alongside Atelier Filz's reimagined interior, giving us the opportunity to collaborate with Québec artisans: A & J Métissage, ceramists based in the region, and our longtime collaborators at Babajaga Glassworks for the hand-blown glass. Projects like this one are gold for our bespoke team.

Créer une collection pour notre catalogue est toujours stimulant. Mais quand on se voit confier une série de luminaires sur mesure pour un restaurant que nous chérissons, on bascule sur une autre échelle d'enthousiasme. Côté Est nous a invités à faire partie de sa transformation à Kamouraska, dont l'intérieur porte désormais la signature d'Atelier Filz; une belle occasion de collaborer avec des artisans québécois, soit A + J Métissage, céramistes établis dans la région, et nos collaborateurs de longue date chez Babajaga Glassworks pour le verre soufflé. Ce genre de projet, c'est une pépite d'or pour notre équipe de design.

The palette isn't quite right for your space? Our collections can be tailored to you, starting with a choice of finishes.

chose that path for her kitchen, customizing her Ipoli models with an aubergine finish picked from our material library. Set against warm wood, veined marble, and burgundy walls, the result feels quietly at ease.

La palette n'est pas tout à fait bonne pour votre espace ? Nos Parfois, une vision est si précise qu'aucun luminaire existant n’arrive tout à fait à l'incarner parfaitement. C'est pour ces moments que nos collections s'ouvrent à la personnalisation : une nuance changée, une tige rallongée; il suffit parfois de peu pour que tout s'aligne.

a choisi cette voie pour sa cuisine, personnalisant ses modèles Ipoli avec le fini aubergine de notre matériauthèque. Installé contre du bois chaud, du marbre veiné et des murs bordeaux, le résultat s'impose avec discrétion.

Galerie 6250 opened during Semaine Design de Montréal welcoming .ca. What brought us together is a shared conviction: that working with external designers is where the most interesting work begins. Suspended paper partitions transformed the gallery into a labyrinth of discovery, where each turn brought light and furniture into a new conversation.

La Galerie 6250 s’est ouverte durant la Semaine Design de Montréal en accueillant .ca . Une conviction partagée nous a réunis : c’est dans la collaboration avec des designers externes que naît le travail le plus intéressant. Des cloisons de papier en suspension ont transformé la galerie en labyrinthe de découverte – chaque tournant engageait la lumière et le mobilier dans une nouvelle conversation.
