Do you know why I wrap every yarn order like a present? I have found as an adult we hardly (or never) get anything mailed or delivered in a special way. It's always just a plain box, maybe with bubble wrap. Or, it's an item jammed into a mailer bag by someone who doesn't seem to enjoy their job. It's treated like a transaction. Nothing more.
Do you remember being excited when you got to open a package? I do, and it's a nice feeling, even for a minute or two during an otherwise ordinary day. Even if you bought the yarn for yourself, you deserve to have it feel special. Like a gift, because it is. It's a gift for you, your talent and your time.
