Honoring the generations that came before us.
I created this memory board using fabric, old family portraits, and a little bit of love. Every photo tells a story, where we come from, who we are, and the legacy we carry forward. 🕊️✨

Our first Christmas season in our new home has officially started! And I didn’t have to spend $600 on a tree 😏

We debated if it was better to build the new tree when our kids were asleep, and decided to do it all together. Because it’s the whole point. Doing it for them, with them ❤️

Next up: we decorate it!

Can’t spell brown without own LOL no seriously I am owning this final result. The bedroom is now so warm and cozy, but still light and airy. I didn’t want anything too moody or dramatic because my bedroom is my sanctuary and I like for it to feel light on my spirit 🤎

I am still on the hunt for a cute seating arrangement and perfect vintage pot for my ficus tree.

This month I’m sharing my favorite 2025 thrift finds, starting with these little stools. They were rusted and the seats were completely ruined.

But with a deep chemical clean and fresh upholstery, they got a whole new life.
Inspired by those beautiful textural benches from CB2.

Sometimes all a piece needs is patience, vision, and a good fabric choice.

Our November mood board 🖤This is what we look forward to this month. We’re going to take out our oversized scarves to admire the leafless trees and the first snowfall. It’s cozy fire and indoor slippers season.

Our new mid-century modern walnut shelves are finally up. Wall-mounted, floor-to-ceiling, and beautifully crafted from solid walnut. These CB2 shelves bring such warmth and structure to the space.

Now comes the best part: styling them.
Do we go with a curated showroom aesthetic… minimal, balanced, and gallery-like, or a lived-in library look with stacked books, ceramics, and memories?

Tell us which direction you’d take 👇

I loved my fall florals, but it’s that time of year when the garden sleeps and the lamps glow. A little seasonal swap for warmth and light.

It’s not just a tile. It’s a love story… glazed, textured, and slightly imperfect. Just my type.

Home has always been my therapy, one project at a time.

There’s something healing about seeing a room slowly come to life… layering textures, light, and memories.

This dining room is a reminder that progress can be both beautiful and grounding.

A century-old Montreal duplex meets modern industrial charm.
This bathroom remodel blends raw textures and refined details. Exposed brick, chrome fixtures, vintage frames, and terracotta accents, all designed to echo the character of the home while bringing in a fresh, contemporary edge.

At Casamia Design Studio, we love the balance between heritage and modernity: the warmth of old brick against cool chrome, the softness of clay beside sleek lines.
Our 3D design brings that contrast to life; timeless, textural, and true to Montreal’s spirit.

Follow along as we transform this space from dated to distinctly Casamia.
