Introducing our US & Canada Star Painters 2026! 🌟 Handpicked by for their creative vision, technique, and colour mastery, we’re shining a light on their artistry.

Today, we feature Daniel Cervantes , a Mexican furniture artist based in Newfoundland and Labrador. Inspired by coastal sunsets in Mexico and his life by the North Atlantic, Daniel brought ocean horizons to life on this statement chest of drawers.

He began with raised stenciling in plaster, then blended Chalk Paint with brushes and sponges for tactile depth. Grounded by a base of Graphite, Whistler Grey, Honfleur, and Primer Red, he blended sunny tones of Capri Pink, Sandalwood Red, and Arles, transitioning into the ocean depths of Oxford Navy and Aubusson Blue.
