Do you have some furniture at home? That’s dark and dated? Let’s give it a facelift and create a complete new look.I have an entire dining room suite coming in, but to give you a sample of what I’m doing the dark is the before and the client wants it sanded down to lighter tones and give it a natural feel. The table is not the same wood, but it’s the same colour and once I have it all done, which is gonna take me a while (as you know, sanding is a long process.) I will post the entire suite.

This project for a client was a bit of a beast. It was large. It was imported from Dubai. and the wood is exotic and unbeknownst to me, would not stop seeping the tannins from inside and so after seven coats of primer and a beautiful coat of Paperie by Mélange Paints she went from a beast to a beauty. I can’t wait to see the pictures. She is going to be front and centre in a law office. Have something that needs facelift in your home or you want to come and wander through the 2500 ft.² of furniture in my warehouse and tell me what direction you want to go. I can recycle your furniture to suit your own aesthetic.

I don’t think there’s a lot of people that love to do prep work, but it is necessary and now that my first steps are done. I just have to do one more coat of primer and then I can move on to the magic. I will be Mélange Paints Primeval, which is one of those rich deep colours that you feel you can just melt right into when you look at it. It is a gorgeous black.(formally Jett Black.) and I will post the finish product as soon as it’s done. I’m excited to show you.
