Good evening fellow crafters. I just wanted to share a little info with everyone and be transparent. As I’m sure a lot of you have noticed the shop being closed for several days in the last few weeks, due to the unfortunate downtrend in customer sales I have been exploring employment opportunities. Our current analytics show our website sessions are down 50%, total sales are down 93% and total orders are down 83%. For the entire month of May we only had a gross amount of $1,835, down 71% from previous months. Being that the shop is my full time job and only source of income, the numbers are troubling. With having to reinvest 50% of profits into restocking and all the other regular monthly bills, this just isn’t viable to be able continue operating the shop. With the shop being open for almost 12 months, I had hoped sales would increase. As of now there has been no concrete decision made but unfortunately unless the current trend changes, the shop may have to close in the near future. I of course will keep everyone updated as things progress. Thank you for your understanding and your patronage.

Fresh off my needles is the Dovetail Cowl. I used one skein of Estelle worsted in silver and one skein of my hand dyed merino worsted weight yarn. The busy hand dyed doesn’t show the pattern as well as a solid would have but I think it turned out pretty. 🥰 I’m selling this one $50 if anyone is interested please comment below or send me a private msg.
