Our hearts are aching today, due to the highly unnecessary killing of the beautiful and majestic grizzly bears in our community💔
We choose to live in these mountain communities, where these animals originate. Why is it so hard to cohabitate with them, particularly when they have there have been no reported incidents of aggression or disruption?
These decision makers need more accountability and transparency, particularly when a huge section of the community is reaching out in disagreement of these actions.
My sister and I both live in Hall Siding where these bears have been roaming peacefully for the past couple of months. It’s an honour whenever we see them, and when you give them their space and bear smart your property, and are responsible with your garbage… there are no issues.
Humans are the problem, not the innocent bears. We need to do better people!!
