We are pleased to welcome Darlene Bowen to the Gallery family of vendors!

Darlene learned to bead while discovering her Algonquin/Metis heritage. From a six-week course that produced one tiny beaded orange shirt, she continues to learn the art and has developed a style unique to her grandmother’s memory. Beading offers a calm and grounding space that allows her creativity to flourish.

Her beautiful pieces will make lovely gifts for Mother’s Day on May 10th, and to commemorate Red Dress Day on May 5th!

The collaboration between Foto Shop.Gallery and Hidden Treasure Second Hand Store continues! Original art, reproductions and photographs by northern Ontario artists which were donated to Hidden Treasure are hanging for a limited time at the gallery. All proceeds go directly to Northern Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.
