A few things we learned at our recent market Downtown Toronto:
🍋 No one paid in cash! Our Square was NEEDED
🍋 Not only did we need the Square Reader... IT also needed a Wi-Fi connection to accept tap
🍋 Have e-transfer as a backup option
🍋 Bring an extension cord
🍋 For us, sitting down at our booth seemed to draw people in more than standing and greeting did
🍋 It's okay to eat and drink in front of people!
🍋 Have a comfy seat (emphasis on COMFY)
🍋 Not every conversation is sale... it's a chance to network 😊
🍋 Keep your energy up through the highs and lows
🍋 Breaking even is okay!
