We are CLOSED until further notice due to a burst water pipe above our unit.

I know that you have lots of questions. Here’s the quick and dirty:

🧶ALL Socials are cancelled this week;
🧶The affected yarn is no longer on our website;
🧶Check here for details on when we reopen;
🧶This should not affect our Charity Yarn Sale on Sunday;
🧶If you were planning to donate to the above sale, please wait until Saturday. Hopefully we are back up and running by then.

For those missing the socials - the weather seems nice enough to stitch outside, so please consider meeting at Fairy Lake! Bring a folding chair and look for knitters near the pavilion.

Second Annual Outdoor Yarn Sale in Support of the Newmarket Food Pantry

Calling all yarn lovers! The Second Annual Outdoor Yarn Sale takes place on Sunday, May 31 in the parking lot adjacent to Unwind Yarn House in Newmarket.

The sale is an outdoor event.

For $10 you can fill your bag! You will find yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, project bags, pattern books and magazines.

All proceeds go to the

Last year the Sale raised $2,000 for the Newmarket food Pantry. It was Unwind’s biggest charitable event.

Everything in the sale is donated by the Unwind community of knitters and crocheters. All yarn and items purchased are as is. It is a great opportunity for crafters in the area who are on a budget to find beautiful yarn at an unbeatable price.

The sale takes place in the overflow parking lot beside Unwind Yarn House, 390 Davis Drive, Newmarket. Rain or shine!

At the end of the day if there are leftovers, they will be donated to local charities.

We’re closing early this Thursday!

We’re closing at 5PM on Thursday, May 21, as the Unwind Team heads to Alliston for a private screening of The Sheep Detectives. Along with Andrea from and approximately 60 knitters and crocheters.

Unfortunately this means that the Crochet Social is cancelled. Sorry for anyone inconvenienced.

Tickets for the movie are sold out. We are thrilled with the level of enthusiasm. Thanks to everyone who was as excited as we were for the film. See you at the movies! 🍿
