Stop using plastic cutting boards and start taking advantage of the benefits of wood. Wood is better for your knives đŸ”Ș. Doesn’t get plastic into your food And just looks so much better. These Cherry with walnut and maple accents are functional for everyday use and look great enough to also be used for charcuterie. I finished this handcrafted board today and proudly showed Andrea...
Let’s just say her first comment wasn’t, “Wow, what a beautiful serving board.” 🙄😂
After she finished making fun of me, and stopped making comments that weren’t PG, we started talking about all the ways it could actually be used.
🧀 A long charcuterie board for the coffee table so everyone can reach the snacks.
đŸ» A flight board for beer, wine, whisky, or coffee tastings.
đŸ„– A serving board for appetizers or fresh bread.
đŸȘ A dessert board...or, if you’re trying to eat a little healthier, at 5 inches wide it’s the skinniest charcuterie board you’ve ever seen. 😆
Now I’m curious...
What would you use it for? (Let’s keep the comments reasonably respectable... I already know what Andrea is thinking. 😂)

To me this is the best kind of cutting board
. It’s multi purpose. It can be your daily user for cutting meat or vegetables, or because of the great looks of this cherry board with decorative walnut stripe it’s also great for show and can be used for charcuterie. This could be considered the first of many pieces to come called “use what’s in the shop” đŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł I find doing this challenges me to come up with ideas to make each piece look great with what is available. This unique charcuterie board is 50/50 walnut and epoxy, with rounded corners and hole for either a handle or a 2” dip container. This is available for $80, DM me PM if interested.

Spent my week off with my neighbour Terry building a new fence
 and of course once we got to the gate, the wife had some “design input” 😂

Custom herringbone gate with a decorative privacy insert to give it a little extra character. Pretty happy with how this one turned out.
