Hello friends. Well, it's been a minute since my last post. I apologize for that, but life has a habit of keeping you busy in all directions. I haven't stopped making my boards, and as a matter of fact, a client recently asked me to produce a board for a friend of hers. She wanted something unique, made from Italian Olive Wood, with no epoxy inlays, and without a handle. Sourcing out just the right piece of wood is getting to be more difficult theses days, due to higher prices, a lack of variety. I was fortunate enough to find some, and created four boards. Two from Italian Olive, one from Black Walnut, and one from Spalted Maple which surprisingly is my favourite due to its' striking uniqueness. I've included the pictures here.

Hi everyone. I know it's been a while since I've posted, but as I'm sure you all realize, summers get busy with so many other great things. Over the past year, I've wanted to do something a bit different with my boards just to keep it fresh, and I believe I've got just the thing. I started experimenting with what I call "River Boards". I've got four to show you here, and I'll be making more just as soon as I can source out some more wood. These boards are not the traditional shape of board you're used to seeing for charcuterie, but I think they're much more useful for the purpose in a rectangular shape. Also, the epoxy is much more pronounced and dramatic looking, since it really is basically a river running through the board. Each board is approximately 12" x 16", so there's plenty of room for whatever you want to put on it. These boards are not quite finished yet, which is why they don't have a price on them, but I was just too excited about them to keep them under wraps any longer. I really hope you all like them, and please let friends and relatives know about the site if they might be interested.

A friend asked me to create a specific board for them in a larger size, with the blue resin. I found some raw Black Walnut that I felt would be suitable, and made this board. I tried to create a deeper, more flowing look to the resin, and I think I've achieved that nicely.
I also found, for the first time in a long while, some beautiful Italian Olive wood, which I've already shaped, and will likely finish in a few weeks. Looking forward to posting them when they're done. All the best in the New Year!!

Well, it's been a bit of a busy summer, and unfortunately I haven't been able to get out to create as many boards as I had hoped. I did however, source out some interesting pieces of Spalted Maple, along with the traditional Black Walnut, and I also found a great piece of Cherry wood, which is one of the boards featured today. I hope you find these interesting, and thanks for looking!!

As promised, I'm adding the last 3 boards that I was able to create from the stock of Spalted Maple that I had. Hopefully after the holidays I'll be able to get hold of some more interesting raw stock and start creating again. Hope you like these! All the best!!

Excited to add 4 new boards to the portfolio today. The Black Walnut is really nice since I've been experimenting with the epoxy lately. The one board was pretty dark so I've done the epoxy in a white pearl to liven it up a bit. I've also found some rare Spalted Maple which is very different, and I'll be adding 3 or 4 more of them in the next week. Hope you like them!
