Before June Floral & Garden became what it is today, Joanne met June through her work in landscaping.

Over the years, they stayed in touch, built a friendship, and life guided them to June Floral.

Almost 4 years ago, when the opportunity arose to purchase what was then Van Noort Flower Studio, June was there to offer her support throughout the journey. Her belief in Joanne helped make this next chapter possible.

This month, we celebrate 2 years of June Floral & Garden proudly growing into something new while continuing to honour the legacy of the business that came before it.

What makes this story even more special is that some things haven't changed at all. Joanne still looks after June's gardens, and their friendship remains just as strong as ever.

As we celebrate two years of June Floral & Garden, we're also celebrating the people who help make dreams possible. Thank you, June, for your kindness, your support, and for being such an important part of our story.

These may be some of the smallest floral pieces we create, but they’re often some of the most detailed, delicate, and time-consuming.

Every stem is carefully selected, trimmed, wired, secured, balanced, and designed by hand to create something that not only looks beautiful, but can actually be worn comfortably throughout an entire evening of photos, movement, hugs, dancing, and celebration.

Wearable florals require an incredible amount of precision and every detail matters.

While the flowers themselves may only last for a few days, the memories attached to them often last forever.

Romance doesn’t always have to look like red roses.

Sometimes it looks like rich magenta, soft peach, buttery yellow, coral, lavender, or something completely unexpected.

One of our favourite things about working with fresh flowers is seeing how colour completely changes the feeling of a bouquet or arrangement. Some roses feel bold and dramatic, others feel playful, elegant, soft, nostalgic, modern, or full of sunshine.

What better way to celebrate 2 years of June than by sharing what’s blooming right here in our own backyard?

From locally grown flowers making their way into the shop to the blooms currently thriving in our cut garden, this season is one of our favourites. Every week brings something new, and we love finding ways to incorporate the beauty of Niagara-grown flowers into our designs whenever possible.

As we celebrate our anniversary month, we’re also taking a moment to appreciate the growers, gardeners, customers, and community that have supported us over the last two years. Thank you for being part of this journey.
