I had the privilege of helping prepare this home for listing.. what a task, and how rewarding to highlight this stunning property. Many hours were spent editing and packing, reminiscing and sharing the memories that filled this home for years.

In reality it was only 56, but it felt like 525,600 spindles!

It’s incredible what a little sweat equity can do.

Step 1: Degrease
Step 2: Wash thoroughly
Step 3: Prime with a stain blocking product
Step 4: First coat of paint
Step 5: Second coat of paint
Step 6: Sealant
Step 7: Vow never to paint a 3 story staircase ever again!

With a little elbow grease, we can make our own magical moments!

I found these old muskoka chairs in need of some serious TLC on Marketplace and spent a few hours sanding and using white paint stain to transform them for a staging client.

Also feeling inspired to enjoy these last few weeks of summer while they last!

Would you ever paint fabric?
Well, I’m about to find out how it holds up!

I fell in love with this vintage wicker furniture set, except for the exceptional 80’s fabric. The cost to replace would warrant a new patio set and so I did some research and discovered that exterior paint has flex and proves to be quite weather resistant.

Stay tuned to see how this will turn out!
