The architecture comes first.

Often, we supply and install window coverings after the home has been built, the drywall and finishes are complete, and the home is furnished.

One of our priorities is working with the architecture of the home so the window coverings complement its layout and aesthetic rather than work against it.

When windows meet at a 90-degree angle, we can use a butt-and-bypass configuration to minimize light gaps and cover as much of the window as possible. By carefully considering how the shades meet at the corner, we can create a more complete finish while improving privacy and light control.

The goal is for the window coverings to feel considered from the very beginning, working with the architecture rather than competing with it.

Some of the most important details are the ones you’ll never see.

A successful drapery track installation begins long before installation day. Our installers precisely measure the space and our administrative team ensure the specified track and motor are ordered correctly.

Once the track arrives, our team carefully marks its placement, installs the support brackets and glides, and secures the track to the mounting surface.

Once the drapery is manufactured and hung, much of this work becomes concealed, but its importance remains. Track placement determines how the finished drapery sits, moves, and operates within the space.

It’s a reminder that the finished installation is often only as good as the details that came before it.

Luxury homes are the result of every element coming together to create one cohesive vision.

For this West Vancouver home, we collaborated with the homeowners to design and install window coverings that complement the home’s traditional design influences while remaining consistent with its refined architectural details.

The soft white tones of the Lutron Electronics rollershades complement the white marble flooring and countertops, creating continuity between the window coverings and the materials throughout the home.

In select spaces, fascia conceals the shade hardware, adding another layer of clean lines and visual simplicity. Recessed ceiling-mounted shades take this a step further, allowing the window coverings to become part of the architecture itself rather than feeling like an addition to it.

We’re now completing the final phase of installation, and we love seeing how each detail is coming together to support the overall vision of the home.

Site update for Lot 16.

The motorized drapery tracks are in.

Two tracks have been installed side by side, carefully positioned to maximize light control.
One runs straight along the window, while the adjacent track curves around two sides of the room, allowing the drapery to follow the architecture and close the corners with minimal light gaps.

The real transformation comes next. We look forward to returning to site once the drapery has been hung and steamed, bringing the full system together.

Light exactly when you want it.
