Stunning window coverings require accurate measurements of the windows, walls and any possible obstructions around. Consistency and repeated measures are key.

We stopped by a new build in Whistler during its rough-in stage to re-measure windows post glass installation and observe the recesses that’ll conceal motorized roller shades and drapery tracks.

This visit allowed us to revise measurements, note potential obstacles, and check in with the EVR Fine Homes' team to ensure the building process runs smoothly.

In addition to working with EVR Fine Homes, we’re grateful to be working with and on this exceptional home.

Beautiful work is the result of thoughtful collaboration between every team shaping a project.

Working alongside and .vancouver, we helped bring the client’s vision to life with window coverings that feel both intentional and true to the space.

In this room, the client envisioned blue sheer drapery. With limited sheer options available in the right tone, we adapted our standard fullness and carrier spacing to accommodate their chosen fabric from , ensuring both the look and performance met expectations.

Floor-to-ceiling drapery transforms a space by introducing softness, scale, and a sense of quiet luxury. It complements the architecture while offering effortless control over natural light and privacy.

It’s the kind of detail that doesn’t demand attention, but ultimately defines the room.

Natural light moves differently through a well-designed home. It shifts the mood, defines the space, and quietly sets the tone for how it’s lived in.

In this Vancouver residence, every detail was considered to support that experience. From the kitchen to the living areas, we installed motorized roller shades designed not to compete with the architecture, but to complement it.

Softening harsh daylight when needed, preserving the connection to the outdoors when open, and maintaining clean, uninterrupted sightlines when retracted, the system feels effortless yet intentional in every moment of use.

At Final Touch Window Coverings, this level of detail is never an afterthought. It’s the result of careful coordination, precise installation, and a commitment to getting the small things right.

Because in homes like this, no detail is too small.

One of our longest-standing partnerships has been with . A relationship built over years of shared standards in quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

At the Cactus Club Coal Harbour location , the view is everything. Floor-to-ceiling glass, angled windows, and skylights open the space to the waterfront and the North Shore mountains.

But with that exposure comes the challenges of the western sun, heat, and glare, especially through the spring and summer months.

Our automated rollershade solution, powered by , was designed to solve that without compromise; preserving the view with the touch of a button. The Cactus team quietly controls comfort throughout the day ensuring every guest experience feels as refined as the space itself.

We value every collaboration and look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.

This project has been in the works for over a year. It’s an intricate process where every detail matters. From drapery and pockets to rollershades, each element requires careful coordination and precise ex*****on.

Our team remains highly detail-oriented throughout, continuously following up on key components like pocket fittings, track snap installation, and site conditions to ensure nothing is overlooked. Regular site visits allow us to verify measurements and account for real-world variables before moving forward.

One of our experienced installers is meticulously confirming track sizes, return dimensions, glide counts, and finished heights for all drapery areas where flooring is complete. Accuracy at this stage is critical to the final result.

It’s this level of attention to detail that ensures a flawless installation, and we look forward to seeing it come together.

We visited this project in Deep Cove to bring the original vision behind the CAD drawings and design plans into focus.

Every successful project starts with a clear vision, but it’s the in-person walkthrough that brings the vision to life.

Being on site allows us to align the design intent with the realities of the space, refining details and anticipating challenges before they arise.

This stage is essential in assuring every element, from shade placement to motorization, is executed as envisioned, ahead of the upcoming wiring phase.

We’re proud to be collaborating on this project with and .

Privacy without sacrificing the view: this was the challenge in this North Vancouver ensuite.

Standard solutions couldn’t deliver both. So, we approached it differently.

Through collaboration and careful specification, we developed a custom roller shade solution using , pairing fabric and placement to provide full privacy where it’s needed, while preserving the natural view above.

The result is a tailored balance of function and design, built specifically for how the space is used.

For homeowners, that means comfort without compromise.
For designers and builders, it means a solution that works beautifully for the space.

At Final Touch, custom isn’t an upgrade; it’s the starting point.

Every window on this North Vancouver project required a different solution and that's where expertise matters.

Balancing privacy, light control, and overall design intent isn’t achieved with a single product. It requires careful planning, product knowledge, and precise ex*****on.

For this home, we combined automated roller shades, custom drapery and Roman shades using , each selected and specified to suit the function and architecture of the space.

From bedrooms to living areas to feature windows, every detail was considered to ensure a consistent look while meeting the unique performance needs of each room.

This is where customization goes beyond aesthetics. It’s about delivering the right solution, in the right way, the first time.

Site update: our Point Grey project with Arbutus Point Developments has reached the pre-drywall stage.
With the structure now in place, flooring, walls, and roofing, this is where the groundwork for flawless window covering solutions really happens.

At Final Touch, we aim to be involved from concept to completion. Early collaboration allows us to plan for power, pockets, and wiring; key details that directly impact both installation and the final aesthetic.

Working with Heather from Architects, we carefully mapped out the optimal wiring locations balancing functionality, safety, and the architectural vision of the home.

The best results aren’t added at the end; they’re built in from the beginning.

Not every project goes exactly to plan, but with the right team in place, changes in vision can be accommodated seamlessly.

On this Vancouver new build, the original scope focused on bedrooms and main living areas, spaces that were pre-wired for motorized shades.

As the project came together however, the stairwell became a focal point and the client decided they wanted it finished to the same standard… but there was no wiring in place.

No pre-wire, no problem.

Working with the , and using fabrics from and , we delivered a battery-powered motorized Roman shade, allowing the final design vision to come together seamlessly.

Throughout the home we installed a blend of manual and motorized Roman shades, balancing function, aesthetics, and flexibility as the project evolved.

The stairwell shade is a small detail, but a perfect example of how the right solution at the right time can elevate a space.
