We are looking a for a part time dishwasher during the day at Well Fed Studio in North Vancouver.
Time during the day would be 9:00- 3:30 pm, flexible on days as you would be job sharing

Positions Available: Part time (2) or Full Time (1)
Hours: approx. 15-25 hours per week part time, 40 hours per week full time
Shifts Available: Daytime/Weekday
Compensation: Hourly Wage
Start Date: Early Sept 2021

The Role:
Manages the day to day customer service/sales for our frozen meals to go
Takes orders on line and over the phone as well as the occasional pick up order
Double checks and packages orders as needed
Updates/edits back end of our website with products, coupons and fundraisers
Set ups accurate & efficient delivery sheets/routes for drivers
Works with owner to strategically create marketing calendar of new products and specials
Creates newsletters on mail chimp and other social media platforms
Works with kitchen to manage inventory of products with weekly production sheet
Effectively communicates details of special requests allergies/dietary restrictions and positive feedback as well as areas to improve to kitchen
Orders packaging supplies for deliveries
Summer months manages set up for our kids cooking classes
Other duties as needed

Full Time
Manages customer service/sales/subscriptions for our childcare centers

Qualifications:
Detail-oriented and organized.
Professional, logical, effective and efficient.
Strong ability to manage change as our small business evolves
Upbeat and positive attitude, with a passion to get things done right
Works well with people and communicates well - both verbally and written
Great customer service skills and ability to give the best service to our customers.
Must have great computer skills such as Wordpress, Social Media, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

A Glimpse of the Role:
At the Well Fed kitchen we have a team of cooks, bakers, kitchen helpers, packers and drivers. This team comes together to prepare, pack and deliver our nutritious and delicious meals to feed thousands of kids and families on the North Shore and Vancouver.
You work directly with the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef. Making sure your tasks are performed effectively, efficiently all while ensuring our high quality standards.

What you will get paid to do:
Make/ prepare and package our frozen meals to go
Prepare batch food for our schools/childcare as need by Kitchen Manager
Detail oriented make sure the finished product follows our standardized recipes and looks and tastes great
Works with Kitchen Manager to order food for production
Maintains/Organizes meals to go recipe booklet with monthly specials
Receive foods and put away food and packaging orders
Maintain a Clean Working Area
Clean Up and Tidy at the end of the shift
Carefully Follow Health and Safety Rules
Other Duties as required
Depending on experience opportunity to teach summer culinary classes to kids and teens

Qualifications:
Passionate about fostering healthy eating habits
Experience with food preparation
Culinary training is preferred
Food Safe Level 1
Positive attitude, with a passion to get things done right
Hard-working
Detail oriented
Punctual
Works well in a team environment
Ability to work on your feet for 8 hour shift
Physically Fit (can ensure repetitive lifting of 25 kg)
Attention to cleanliness
Ability to read and speak English
Basic math skills, including: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Our Story

Welcome to Well Fed. We are a boutique food studio nestled in the heart of the beautiful North Vancouver Mountains. Our intent is to provide you with meal solutions and inspiration for the time starved who still want to eat well.

We offer meals to go, elementary school lunch program, fundraising opportunities and Kids Cooking Camps. Our Studio is also available for private bookings...learn more.

Make dinners a snap! Order your meals to go for either a pick up from the Studio or on a Thursday morning delivery.

All our meals require no prepping, no chopping!
