Somewhere along the way, architecture has started losing its character.

After walking through the streets of Milan, Florence, Venice, Rome, Pisa, and Athens, I was reminded that great architecture is more than a beautiful façade. Every building tells a story. Every material, proportion, detail, and imperfection reflects its culture, history, and craftsmanship.

Today, too many buildings are designed for speed, efficiency, and replication. They function well, but often lack a memorable identity.

As designers, our responsibility isn’t just to create spaces that look modern. It’s to create places that people remember, connect with, and experience.

Travel reinforces something I have always believed: the best design comes from observing the world with curiosity. Every city, every street, and every building teaches us something new.

At Hive Studio, these experiences continue to shape how we approach every retail, restaurant, hospitality, and commercial project. We don’t just design spaces—we strive to create experiences with character.
