If you blink, you’ll miss Wilton.

If you slow down, you’ll understand it.

Banana bread.

Eggs.

Rhubarb.

Cows.

Ponies.

Horses.

Garden compost.

Fresh curds.

An old General Store.

And a mill that’s been standing here since 1784.

Not bad for one little Hamlet.

Turn off the highway.

Follow a sign that says Wilton.

Things to do in Wilton.

Notice another sign that says Cheese Factory.

Get distracted by fresh eggs.

Slow down for banana bread.

Stop by The Dirty Old Barn and wonder how one building can hold so many interesting things.

Wave at a horse that couldn’t care less.

Wonder why somebody is selling composted pony manure for two dollars a bag.

See tiny ponies living their best lives.

Pick up fresh curds from the Wilton Cheese Factory.

Stop at the General Store
Get that lucky 🍀 ticket maybe a fresh drink some ice cream.

Look around and realize nobody is in a hurry.

Cross the Wilton Creek.

Drive past old barns, waving flags and things that make absolutely no sense and somehow make perfect sense.

Eventually end up at The Wilton Mill.

And then spend the next two hours saying:

Look at this.

No, look at this.

No, seriously…look at this.

Nobody really plans a day in Wilton.

Wilton just kind of happens to you.

And somehow, by the time you’re heading home, it feels like exactly where you were supposed to be.
