Prairie & Pine is officially GOLD for Best Floral Shop in Okotoks!!

Last year we took home Silver, and this year you guys bumped this little home-based flower studio up to GOLD. 🤍

I started Prairie & Pine in my garage in 2024 with absolutely no idea where it would take me — and now, a little over two years later (and conveniently on my birthday 😂), I get to share this.

Every bouquet, wedding, workshop, subscription, last-minute flower request and “just make something pretty” order comes through my hands, so this one feels pretty special.

Thank you to every single person who voted, ordered flowers, came to a workshop, recommended my name or continued to support this little business of mine! 🧡

Six bridesmaids, six different flowers 🤍

Ranunculus, callas, roses, tulips + dahlias for the bridesmaids, blue delphinium & tweedia for the MOH — then a little bit of everyone brought together for the bridal bouquet, with some cosmos + eucalyptus added in.

I loved this concept so much!

A little look at Fiona's wedding flowers 🌼

Soft blush and mauve with pops of peach, yellow and fresh green — including the craspedia Fiona specifically requested, which ended up being such a fun detail throughout.

Bouquets, bud vases and boutonnieres all carried the palette through, and the tiny flower crowns for the flower girls were such a cute addition. 🤍

Loved how all the different pieces came together for this wedding.

Everyday flowers are back! 💐

After a summer of weddings, pre-orders & events, I’m opening my books back up for everyday orders starting September 8th!

A little reminder as we head into fall — Prairie & Pine is a one-woman, made-to-order floral studio, which means I don’t keep a storefront full of flowers waiting to go. Everything is brought in and designed specifically for your order. 🤍

Pre-orders are always the best way to make sure I can create something for you (and get my hands on the good stuff 👀). While I’ll still accommodate last-minute orders when I can, availability isn’t always guaranteed.

So if you know you have a birthday, anniversary, thank-you, just-because, or anything else coming up — send it my way early! 🌸

When the professional photos come back and you immediately need to share them 🤍

I had so much fun with this one. The all-white palette, the orchids and anthurium, the trailing amaranthus… and then paired with the black bridesmaid dresses 👌

Such a different look from a lot of the weddings I get to create for, and I loved every bit of it.

White and green — with a modern twist 🤍🌿

Vanessa's bridal bouquet was all about texture and movement, with orchids, anthurium, trailing amaranthus and those little hits of fresh green.

The bridesmaids carried the same fresh white and green palette in a simpler design, tying everything together without competing with the bridal bouquet.

Definitely a fun change of pace for me.
