Making another attempt at the Elfcoat, this time in a size medium as I found my original size small a bit too snug. I found a good yarn sub for Unforgettable with Mary Maxim's Prism. It's a DK weight which I am very happy about.

I admit it, I am a hoarder. I don't see old socks, I see stuffing bags. Yarn scraps? Free stuffing. Old Tees? New patches. Hubby's torn jeans? New summer fashion project. Disappointing old projects? Source for new yarn. Have I used any of that stuff for any of those things? Yes, yes I have. Enough to make a dent in the ever growing pile? No.

German Shells Blanket I made for my Mum. I used Redheart Supersaver Newspaper Stripe. Bosco was kind enough to test it out for her. I think he approves.

While putting away my Christmas tree, I busted one of my favorite ornaments. I had some Redheart Comfort Sparkle turquoise in my scrap stash, so I made a little ball and glued it into the bottom. Not perfect, but a thing of sentimental value has been saved!

I hope this makes sense. I'm not great at making videos. This is just quickly showing how I change colour with TSS. You can do this with TKS, but in that case I do it backwards, with the change on the return pass. I'll probably have to do a separate demo for it.
