An example of a technology solution (although not quite an invention per say)
The Copacabana cottage is a perfect sample of smart cottage using plug-n-play products (...available at Best Buy). The various products provided camera view of the entrance, motion and sound detection alarms to the owner's watch. Temperature can be monitored, remotely set for baseboards, the temperature is individually monitored to warn if a window was left open. Smoke, heat and flooding detectors send an alert if triggered. The spa temperature and the overall cottage lighting system is remotely operated by voice. All built in stages and using very scalable industry standards.
