🌺🌸 FUROSHIKI GIFT WRAPPING 🌸🌺
~ Timeless, Ancient Traditions ~

Historically, Furoshiki are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths. The custom of wrapping items in cloth has been around for more than 1,300 years.
In modern times, Furoshiki is acknowledged as an eco-friendly way to wrap gifts. A graceful and refined gift presentation using a pretty scarf, handkerchief, or napkin which can be utilized again and again to wrap in Furoshiki style.

Here I took a simple, up cycled, white napkin and created a flower knot with pretty pink fabric flowers as an accent.

👶 Do you know how children like to tear into their gifts? Like the world will come to an end if they don't get to the gift fast enough. I think this may slow them down a bit. 😇
The curly ribbon detail can come off easily and will give them something to play with or be a keepsake.

A door serendipitously opened up for me and I am taking a leap off the cliff again and will be launching a new business later this summer.

🎀🎁 I will be starting a mobile and in-studio gift wrap service. This will be phase one of my plans starting this September.

I will bring everything to you or you can drop off your gifts at my home studio in Orléans. Complimentary gift wrap, ribbon, bow, simple embellishments and gift tag are included.

I have a shell of a website up for you to bookmark and I will be making changes to this page over the next short while to reflect the new business.

🌟 An employee I had took the leap into entrepreneurship and has opened her own business. Space and Time Studios on Hazeldean is now available if you need space to book. She has multiple rooms of different sizes for rehearsing, conferences, performance spaces, photo shoots, etc, etc. She is on Hazeldean Road next door to Home Hardware.
