This French château-inspired home is all about marrying traditional design with contemporary colours, shapes and materials for the perfect blend of old-meets-new.

We reworked the layout to make everyday life work better, then had a little fun with the details: coffered ceilings, hidden doors, built-in bars, unexpected inlays and plenty of colour.

It’s opulent, highly customized and definitely not afraid of a little drama.

We think first impressions matter. 🤍

We wanted the entry in to feel like a moment of its own, so we widened the doorframe substantially to install a solid oak double door with an ellipse arch to create a little drama as you step into the home.

We used a ceramic tile with a tumbled edge and marbled surface in a charming diamond pattern and added trim around the perimeter of the crown moulding on the ceiling for some old-world charm.

The lighting story throughout this home is stunning, but the entryway chandelier has to be one of our favourites for its unique look and unmatched sparkle. ✨

A few architectural details, one continuous language, and an entry that definitely knows how to make a statement.

OK, we may have taken ‘dream home’ a little too seriously with this one... 🍷🕯️

We were SO excited when our clients came to us with this request, and it’s been a difficult secret to keep!!

Hidden behind a bookcase door, this w**e cellar brings together old world character and a little speakeasy mystery, with the kind of details that make it feel like it’s a relic of centuries past (but with a w**e fridge, of course).

Rustic brick walls, distressed wood w**e racks, mahogany leather chairs, a Parisian-inspired chandelier and just enough candlelight to set the mood for the perfect night of entertaining.

Downstairs at , things get a little moodier. 🍸

Inspired by the feeling of an old-timey speakeasy crossed with a chic bar-lounge, this space was designed to feel a little dramatic, a little unexpected and very much like somewhere you’d want to spend the evening.

Dark indigo and charcoal grasscloth wallpaper set the tone, while antique brass hardware and mercury glass pendants add just enough shine.

The rest is all about creating visual texture: a curved bar, boucle stools, a channelled banquette, a restaurant-style pedestal table topped in bluestone and olive flax dining chairs with strap detailing.

We think this is a very good excuse to head downstairs. 🥃

We’re reopening the door to because we’re not quite done sharing all the secrets of this beautiful home. ✨🏛️

For our new friends, this project is a real labour of love. The goal was to make the home work just as beautifully as it looks, with a layout tailored to how this family actually lives, plus plenty of custom details, from built-ins and organizers to hidden doors.

And then there’s the style.

This house is anything but subtle. The interiors are bold, layered and glamorous, with château-inspired influences woven into a decidedly traditional home. Think glitzy finishes, statement details and rich materials, balanced by rooms that still feel warm, comfortable and cohesive.

And tomorrow, the final unseen spaces finally make their debut... 👀

On the second floor of , there were a few spaces that weren’t quite earning their keep…

We converted the existing bathroom into an ensuite for a hotel-style guest room experience, and added a built-in desk for dual-functionality. We moved the laundry room and used the existing plumbing to create space for a convenient Jack and Jill bathroom.

The primary suite got a rethink too. We created a boutique-style walk-in with a vanity and morning bar, then optimized the ensuite layout to make room for a double vanity, water closet, free standing tub AND spa shower (with room to spare).

And because every home needs a spot to disappear for a little while, we carved out a cozy reading nook too. 📖

With the same amount of square footage, we were able to make the space feel bigger by making it work harder.

A few strategic moves on paper = an upstairs that makes a whole lot more sense. ✨

Like every good renovation, the magic of started with the floor plan.✏️💭

Before the finishes, the millwork and the pretty details (and shiny chandeliers😍), we focused on refining how a home actually lives.

Before, this main floor layout was clunky. The spaces weren’t connected to each other in an intuitive way, and every space felt either cramped or under-utilized.

So we rethought the layout from the inside out
We moved the kitchen to a more central position, which added more storage and room for appliances while also opening up space for a new breakfast nook and pantry. The family room was then freed up to make room for a casual dining area, while the formal dining room was relocated to a more prominent place in the house (with close access to the kitchen).

Small moves on paper, but ones that have completely changed the way the home is lived in.

The vision was something that would not only look but feel entirely different. A forever home for a young family, designed to grow with them and hold years of memories.🪞✨
