We are taking a holiday!
Here we are at the end of a busy but wonderful summer. Blended will be closed August 31 - September 8th, for some much needed rest and relaxation and to get the kids ready for back to school.

When the cat eyes match the decor!

Wow. This is a beautiful animal. When he hopped up on the bed to check out the new pillows I was struck by how amazing his eyes are. I am told this is a Bengal cat which is a hybrid of a leopard and a domestic cat.
Just a beautiful animal, we had to photograph.
One of the best parts of the job is meeting our homeowner’s pets.
Love that he compliments the decor. I wonder if his eye colour was a subconscious decision by the clients to select the colour scheme we proposed???

This bathroom vanity design was everything our client wanted. Located on the newly constructed second floor, this bathroom will not just service guests, it was host the best guest of all, her daughter.
With that in mind we selected finishes that are fun and bold. The penny tile is soft but colourful with a whisper of pink.
The chosen floor tile was an early selection and calls back to the black hardware and trim on the oversized pendants.
Since this is a cottage, we wanted to make sure there was plenty of counter space for guests as well as convenient storage for overnight bags. A wall to wall mirror makes the space feel large while reflecting the amazing light streaming down from the sun tunnel directly above the sink area.

Enjoying our time at the beach today at our Dyers Bay cottage Reno.
This powder room makes me so happy. I love that our client was bold and brave. Choosing this fun bumblebee wall paper brings so much joy to this Tiny and narrow powder room / change room. We added a custom designed vanity to perfectly fit the space as well.
The results are awesome. More to come.

It’s moving day!!
After sourcing and collecting many beautiful pieces, old and new, our friends EZEE MOVING “OS” Inc. 🏠 are here to take it the rest of the way! We will be heading up to the cottage at our Dyers Bay beach house renovation to start unloading and preparing for furniture delivery on Friday when the real fun begins!! Staging day!
