It was operated by Paddy Lennon in the building now known as St. Josephès Used Clothing at the early part of the 20th century. Creating unique statement jewelry and accessories, paintings, images and décor items.

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to you all!The hills are alive with color. The sky a brilliant blue in the warm sunshine - not a cloud to be seen. A calm, relaxing day at the dock - not too many like this left. Ever so pleased with this work as it was the largest painting I've ever attempted.

Crows are a common sight this time of year. September's golden glow - it's cooling down, the days are shorter and the shadows much longer. Soon everything will change color. This was from over 10 years ago. It was the absolute last painting I created with 'craft paint' - not the greatest medium. It was also the largest work completed until very recently - 24x56 triptych. The scene is from just down the road, and the crows are borrowed from a Colville painting. I also learned some serious problem solving with this one, seeing as it took around three years to complete. A little outside guidance goes a long way sometimes, along with using way better equipment.

This is my Great-Grandfather. It would be his birthday today. Born in Rockingham back in 1900, his life would read as one amazing tale. By the time was born, he was already an old man - but that certainly never stopped him from any of his outdoor activities - or really anything for that matter ( except for maybe great-grandma lol ). An avid hunter and trapper, there was always something skinned or hanging around his shop. I depicted him here - well into old age - as an ancient forest spirit, surrounded by his trapping treasures. He was quite mythical to my childhood self. He may be gone, but the tales he told continue to live on...
