Just a quick reminder that we are CLOSED on weekends during the the months of May through September 😎

This is due to a mixture of things, including:
• Working some Saturdays at my full-time job
• Spending quality time with family on the weekends I do have off 💛
• We are open 6 days a week during the winter months (and often 7 days a week during our busiest seasons), so summer weekends are our time to recharge after the long hours throughout the rest of the year

I completely understand that weekends are often the easiest time for many customers to browse and send messages, and I will still try to respond when I can. However, please keep in mind that response times will be delayed during weekends.

Depending on availability, you may not hear back from us until our next business day.

Please note:
• Messages and inquiries will be responded to as soon as possible; however, responses may not always be same day, especially for messages received outside of operating hours
• If you are picking up outside of operating hours, we may not always be available to respond or assist immediately. If you are using our pickup bin, we highly recommend confirming your order is ready and placed in the bin prior to arriving for after-hours pickup
• Sundays will remain CLOSED for pickups and production

Good morning !!

We’re back and kicking things off with a little “behind the scenes” that some of you may not know about Fefe’s Custom Designs 💕

As most of you know, my business name is a little unique. It actually comes from my very first niece. When she was just a baby, she couldn’t quite say “Felicia,” so she started calling me “Fe”… which quickly turned into “Aunt Fefe.” Now all 5 of my nieces and nephews call me Aunt Fefe, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥹

What many of you don’t know, and what truly sets us apart from a lot of other small businesses offering similar products:

• We are a fully registered, tax-paying small business
• We hold an authorized home-based business permit with the Town of Paradise
• We are proud members of the Conception Bay Area Chamber of Commerce
• Giving back is a big part of who we are. We love supporting local non-profit organizations through fundraisers. We currently run a yearly fundraiser on our website for Heavenly Creatures, and we’re actively working on adding more 💛

We’re also SO excited to be sponsoring local PGA professional Riley Furey! ⛳

Please see the following important update regarding operations at Fefe’s Custom Designs.

At this time, I am temporarily scaling back business operations as I transition back to full-time employment. While the business remains active, there are important changes to availability, response times, and order turnaround that all customers should be aware of.

📌 Current Order Acceptance

I am currently accepting and completing:

Existing customer orders
Bridal orders (new and ongoing)
Orders from repeat customers

All other inquiries may be limited at this time.

📌 Operating Hours & Response Policy

Monday – Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Friday – Saturday: 10 AM – 3 PM
Sunday: Closed (no exceptions)

These hours reflect when the business is open for operations. They do not guarantee immediate responses to messages or inquiries.

Please allow 3–5 business days for a response at this time.

Responses may occasionally be sent outside of listed business hours (including evenings) based on availability; however, this is not guaranteed and should not be expected.

📌 Order Processing Times

Small orders (in stock): 10–12 business days
Small order (not in stock): 15-25 business days (depending on shipping time and availability)
Wedding orders: 30–45 business days
Large/custom orders: 30–45 business days (dependent on product type)

Please note: Saturday, Sunday & Government Holidays - Are not considered business days.

These estimated timelines are temporary. Under normal operations, in-stock items are typically completed within 5–7 business days. As noted above, turnaround times are currently extended while I adjust to a new routine and operating capacity.

📌 Production & Inventory Notice

Fefe’s Custom Designs operates out of a 250 sq ft home workspace. While a wide variety of products are offered, inventory is limited and not all items are kept in stock.

Many products are ordered as needed from suppliers located in:

📍Ontario
📍Western Canada (including Vancouver)
📍International manufacturers (not including US)

Shipping times for incoming inventory can range from 10–30 days, which directly impacts overall order turnaround times.

Please note: During this time, shipping delays have become more significant across all suppliers. Even major retailers such as Amazon have shifted from typical 2–3 day delivery windows to 2–3 week estimated arrival times on many products. These delays are outside of my control and may further impact order timelines.

Fefe’s Custom Designs is independently owned and operated. All aspects of the business, including:

are managed solely by one individual, in addition to full-time employment. At least until my part-time employee is finished with her last semester.

Good morning, and Happy Easter !! 🐣💐

After a lot of consideration, I wanted to come on here and share an update with you all...

I’ve decided to take a small step back from Fefe’s Custom Designs for the time being. With starting a new unexpected full-time job, it has been challenging to keep up with order demand, especially with SO many weather and shipping delays causing unexpected disruptions. Unfortunately, not all customers have been understanding, which has made the past month particularly difficult to navigate.

🚨 Effective today, I will not be taking on any new customers at this time 🚨

For my repeat customers, future brides, and anyone who I have spoken to before today, please feel free to continue placing orders. However, if you are in a rush, I may not be the best option right now, as turnaround times will be slower as I take time to try and wrap my head around where to go from here!

I want to be clear 📢📢 I am NOT closing my business.

I have worked countless 18-hour days and overcome many challenges to build this business from the ground up, without any formal business experience. I am incredibly proud of what I’ve created, and I’m not giving up. I simply need to step back, re-evaluate my priorities, set better boundaries, and adjust to a new routine.

During this time, there will still be things happening behind the scenes. My goal is to return with a refreshed website, expanded shipping options across the province (and possibly Atlantic Canada), and an even bigger focus on wedding products. There will also likely be a reduction in the number of products I currently offer, allowing me to better manage quality and turnaround times.

To my repeat customers 🫶 I truly appreciate your continued support more than you know. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Please bear with me as things may move a little slower for a short period, but I am still here to help you!

My goal is to be back in full swing just in time for Mother’s Day!
