We’ve been here for almost three years now. Time really does fly by in the blink of an eye. This baby has taken even more of my time than my actual kids. It’s so strange—sometimes it feels like it all happened so fast, but when you look back, so, so much has happened.

One thing my team and I all agree on is that there is never a dull day here at work. Some days bring ups, and some bring downs, but we’re all here supporting one another, doing our best, and getting through it together. Today will probably be one of those days we remember and talk about years from now.

“Do you remember that day when our front window was broken?”

I bet by then I’ll just be smiling, maybe even laughing, and shaking my head.

I’m not going to lie—my heart hurt a little when I saw our signature rose had been torn apart. But I have to say, everyone handled today with so much grace. The crew was shocked for a moment, just like I was, but everyone quickly put on their gloves and started helping clean up. The thing I heard most often today was, “I’m so sorry this happened.”

Things happen. We take care of them, and we move on.

And somehow, in the middle of all of this, I received the sweetest message from my daughter. She’s only eight, with very high EI. I’m not completely surprised, because that’s just who she is, but I’m still very touched by how much she cares and how much she understands.

So after a day like today, more than anything, I’m just feeling very loved. ❤️

Created with so much love for the sweetest couple, Sam & Tian. It was such a joy bringing all these beautiful details together for their special day.

August is here, and summer is flying by! 🌿☀️

This month, we are featuring beautiful clematis, sharing some simple Dracaena care tips, and talking about how and when to prune your houseplants to keep them happy and growing.

We are also right in the middle of a very busy wedding season, with so many beautiful summer blooms coming through the shop every week. 💐

Making a wedding happen is a lot of work. From the first consultation and proposal, to hammering down all the little details—ribbons, timelines, logistics—then sourcing flowers from different suppliers, designing everything, packing it all up, and finally setting it up at the venue.

No matter how big or small the wedding is, there’s always so much happening behind the scenes.

But we have fun along the way, like busy little bees bouncing around between all the blooms. 🐝🌸 And when everything finally comes together just the way we pictured it, there’s really no better feeling.

It’s a lot of work, but it’s also what makes this job so rewarding. 🤍

Every bride has her own vision, and that is one of the most interesting parts of weddings. No two weddings are ever quite the same. Each one is personal, full of character, and shaped by all the little details that mean something to the couple.

As a florist, I love getting to step into each vision and create something that feels completely their own. Different colours, different flowers, different styles—and somehow, each wedding tells its own story. 🤍
