People often only see the final reveal of a project, but every finished space is backed by countless decisions, revisions, site visits, measurements, samples, problem solving moments and tiny details that all come together over time.

From the initial consultation to space planning, budgeting, selecting finishes, construction walkthroughs and final styling…so much care goes into creating a home that not only looks beautiful, but truly works for the people living in it.

Design is never just about picking pretty things. It’s about creating spaces that feel personal, functional and lived in.

Nothing makes me happier than designing a space that feels so you! 🎀🩰🌸

This one was extra special! Eleven-year-old Olivia came to me wanting her room to feel bigger and more “her,” with space to breathe but still full of the things she loves: dance, bows, and flowers.

We started with the sweetest wallpaper (see the last slide!) from that tied it all together, then worked around pieces she already had to maximize every inch of her 11x10 room.

Proof that you don’t need a huge space (or all new furniture) to create something really special!

Designing the ultimate basement hangout for a sports-loving family. We were tasked to create a standout entertainment space where their sports memorabilia can shine and where friends and family can gather on game night.

We presented three concepts with three different vibes: Old World Sports Club, Clean and Earthy and Contemporary Sports Bar. Same space, completely different feel.

New York at Christmas is a masterclass in atmosphere! My family took a quick trip to the Big Apple last week with my girls’ dance studio. They had the incredible experience of dancing on a Broadway stage and in Times Square, and they even took a class with a Rockette! When I wasn’t watching my girls do what they love most, my head was on a swivel taking in all the amazing holiday decorations. No one does Christmas like New York City. Here’s a little collection of the holiday details that caught my eye.

Christmas decorating is my favourite time of year. We don’t have a perfectly styled or colour-matched tree. Instead, this is my time to embrace the chaos of the season and pile our tree high with ornaments that remind us of the memories we’ve made together. I add a bit of garland and simple touches of red, green and gold around the house to keep things feeling festive.

Don’t stress about the perfect tree or the perfectly styled mantle. Holiday decorating is as much about the memories you create as it is about how it looks. The beauty comes from the feeling your home gives you and your family when you’re together.

These Design Roadmap clients wanted a calm, timeless bathroom that wouldn’t feel dated in a few years. Soft blues and warm beiges set a peaceful tone, while black-and-white octagon-and-dot tile adds a touch of classic charm. This pattern is a favourite of mine and became prominent during the Victorian era. It’s a perfect example of how thoughtful design never goes out of style.

The addition of 3D renderings made it easy to see the vision come to life so the clients could really understand how we were transforming their space.
