Our Story🤍
I have always loved candles. I used to have them going ALL the time around our apartment. However, we discovered that our cat Remi is very sensitive to a lot of different candles that I’ve used in the past. Shortly after using them he would have scary coughing episodes. Eventually, Remi was diagnosed with feline asthma, which is very common in Siamese cats. I knew we had to make some changes in our apartment with regards to scented products we used. Cleaners, soaps, and candles. I wanted to find a candle that I knew was a safer option to use around Remi that wouldn’t cause him to have an asthma attack. However, we found it really difficult to find candles that were safer to use around pets.
So that’s where the idea started! I decided to make my own candles that are a safer option to use around pets. I looked for a fragrance oil provider that uses phthalate and paraben free fragrance oils which are much safer to use around pets!
I’ve been burning one of our strawberry jam candles in our living room for a few weeks now and Remi hasn’t reacted to it at all! Thankfully he’s doing much better☺️
Of course, each pet is different with different sensitivities and allergies, some pets may not do well with fragrance from candles at all! Always use candles with caution around your furry friends 🐱🐶
