I’ve been doing lots of combing and today I carded up every thing I combed. So I have lots of combing waste, carded batts and dyed locks. All this wool is from my neighborhood’s north country Cheviot flock. On September 19th, I’m running a introduction to drop spinning workshop in Beachburg. If you are interested, sign up by Friday through the Beachburg Fibre Fest. Over 2.5hours we will cover drop spinning, some information on choosing fibres and fibre prep and you’ll have the chance to make your own 50g drum carded batt.
