Here is a wierd one. I bought a bunch of first day issue stamps a few years ago. I found this letter in the collection. First day issue of JFK stamp May 29 1964 ( this also would have been JFK's 47 birthday had he lived) sent by Jack Ruby from his jail! Jack Ruby was on death row after losing his court case but trying to get money together for an appeal. To whom he mailed it, and the contents of the envelope, I am not disclosing for now.
