Wild carrot is used for urinary tract problems including kidney stones, bladder problems, water retention, and excess uric acid in the urine; and also for gout, a painful joint problem caused by too much uric acid. The seed oil is used for severe diarrhea (dysentery), indigestion, and intestinal gas.​​​​​​​​

I've been healing up from Covid this week. I had to embrace the thought of being okay not doing anything in the season where there is the most amount of things to do to prepare for winter. On top of it all, I got it from my partner which meant we were both sick, doing nothing at all. ​​​​​​​​

Did you know that Weeping Willow is used for many things you might use in your household? ​​​​​​​​

Willow is used to make furniture and crates even whistles! Some use it to make fish traps and dye to to tan leather. ​​​​​​​​
The branches have long been used as paintbrushes, arrows and medicine​​​​​​​​
• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
When chewed, the bark reduces fever and pain. It was known as the 'Toothache tree" by Native Americans. It was used as you would use over the counter meds today. In fact, the salicylic acid was isolated in 1736 and synthetized to create modern day Aspirin. ​​​​​​​​
